Credits & Credit Plans

Watch: how credits work in NEXT, in 40 seconds.
Credits let NEXT do work for you, so your team spends less time on manual tasks. Today, you use credits to generate ad copy, images, and video with AI. Over time, we'll add more features and automations that use credits, all designed to make running your campaigns easier.
Credits come with your monthly Credit Plan, and you can buy more at any time. This article explains how credits work, what they cost, and how to manage them.
What uses credits
Every time your team, or an automation, generates ad copy, an image, or a video, credits are taken from your monthly balance:
Action | Credits | Notes |
Ad copy | 1 | Per ad copy variant. Generating copy for 4 channels at once uses 4 credits. |
Image | 4 | Per image generated |
Video | 10 | Per video generated |
See what your credits cover. In Finance → Wallet, the Credits card shows how many ad copies, images, or videos your remaining credits are enough for, so you always know where you stand (see Checking your balance below).
More features will use credits. Ad copy, images, and video are the first features that use credits, and we'll add more over time. Before a new feature starts using credits, we'll let you know what it costs.
Creating campaigns, managing jobs, and reporting don't use credits.
Credits are not your ad spend. Your Credit Plan covers the work NEXT does for you. Your Performance budget, the money spent on ads across channels, is separate and billed separately.
Credit Plans
Each plan includes a set number of credits every month. Bigger plans include more credits at a better rate:
Starter | Growth | Scale | |
Price / month | €149 | €249 | €379 |
Credits included | 750 | 1,500 | 2,500 |
≈ ad copy variants | 750 | 1,500 | 2,500 |
≈ images | 187 | 375 | 625 |
≈ videos | 75 | 150 | 250 |
Best for | Getting started | Regular campaign activity | High-volume, automation-heavy teams |
The "≈" rows show what you'd get if you spent all your credits on one type of content. In practice, most teams use a mix.
Pay yearly and save 15%. Yearly plans are billed once a year at 15% off the monthly price.
Same price in every currency. Plans and Top-Ups cost the same amount in EUR, USD, GBP, and CHF (for example, Starter is €149, $149, £149, or CHF 149).
All prices exclude VAT. Tax is calculated at checkout based on your billing address and VAT number.
Which plan fits you?
To help you estimate, here's an illustrative example: a campaign with 3 images, 1 video, and 3 ad copy variants uses 25 credits.
Campaigns / month | Credits needed | Recommended plan |
~25 | ~625 | Starter |
~50 | ~1,250 | Growth |
~100 | ~2,500 | Scale |
100+ | 2,500+ | Scale + Top-Ups, or contact us about a custom plan |
These numbers are for illustration only. Your campaigns may use more or fewer images, videos, and ad copy variants, and we're happy to help you find the right plan.
Your monthly allowance
Credits reset on the 1st of every month.
Unused credits expire at the end of the month and do not roll over.
On a monthly plan, you're also billed on the 1st, so your billing month and your credit month are the same.
On a yearly plan, you're billed once a year, but you still get your credits every month on the 1st.
If you change or cancel your plan, you keep your full allowance until the end of the current period.
Checking your balance
In the top bar: the Credits pill shows how many credits you have left this month. Hover over it for details. It warns you when you're running low.
In Finance:
Open your Organization settings and click the Finance tab.
On the Wallet tab, the Credits card shows:
how many credits you have left (for example, 750 of 750 left) and your current plan
what your remaining credits are enough for: ad copies, images, or videos
when you get new credits (for example, New credits on Nov 1, 2026. Unused credits expire.)
From the Credits card you can click Top up credits, Change plan, or See where it went to see how your credits were used.
Next to it, the Performance budget card shows your ad spend. This is separate from your credits.
When you run out of credits
When your credits reach zero, AI generation pauses and you'll see:
"You're out of credits. Top up, or wait for your monthly credits, to continue."
Nothing else stops. Your live campaigns keep running, and you can still create and edit campaigns using content you already have. To keep generating, you can:
Buy a Top-Up (see below), or
Wait until your credits reset on the 1st of the month.
Buying extra credits (Top-Ups)
Need more credits before the month ends? Buy a Top-Up:
Top-Up | Price | Credits added |
Small | €19 | 75 |
Medium | €49 | 200 |
Large | €99 | 450 |
Top-Up credits are added straight away and expire with the current month, like your plan's credits.
To buy a Top-Up:
Click the + on the Credits pill in the top bar, or click Top up credits in Finance → Wallet.
Choose a Top-Up and click Buy.
Complete payment in the secure Stripe checkout.
Top-Ups cost more per credit than a plan. If you often need Top-Ups, moving up a plan is usually better value.
Automatic top-ups
Automatic top-ups buy a Top-Up for you when your credits run out, so your team isn't interrupted mid-task.
Automatic top-ups are off by default. Nothing is charged unless you switch them on.
You choose which Top-Up to buy and the most times per month it can be bought. NEXT shows you the most you could be charged in a month before you save.
You can switch it off at any time.
To switch on automatic top-ups:
Go to Finance → Wallet.
Under Credits auto-recharge, click Set up auto top-up.
Choose a Top-Up and a monthly limit, then save.
You need a saved payment method first (see below).
Choosing or changing your plan
Go to Finance → Plans, or click Change plan on the Credits card in Finance → Wallet.
Click Choose on the plan you want.
Complete payment in the secure Stripe checkout.
Payment methods, invoices, and billing details
Everything is in Finance → Billing:
Payment methods: add a card or SEPA mandate once, and your plan, Top-Ups, and automatic top-ups are paid without entering it again. Saving a payment method doesn't charge anything.
Invoices: every plan payment and Top-Up gets a proper VAT invoice you can download as a PDF.
Billing details: the business name, address, VAT number, and billing email printed on your invoices.
Card payments are confirmed immediately. SEPA payments can take a few days to settle. NEXT shows the payment as still settling until the money arrives.
If a payment fails, a banner lets you know. Your team keeps full access during a grace period so you have time to update your payment details.
Who can manage credits
Only Organization Admins can choose a plan, buy Top-Ups, set up automatic top-ups, or change payment methods and billing details. Everyone else can see the credit balance in the top bar.
Will I ever be charged without warning?
No. Extra credits are only charged with your approval, given inside the platform: either a Top-Up you buy, or automatic top-ups you've switched on yourself with a monthly limit you set.
