Onboarding Setup Checklist
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Welcome to Wonderkind NEXT! This guide takes you through everything you need to set up after signing up, up to the point where your first campaign is ready to go live. Each step has a short summary and a link to a detailed article if you need more information.
Tip: Settings are available from the user menu at the bottom of the left sidebar. There you will find the settings for your Organization, your Master Account and the Account you are working in.
1. Invite your team
You can invite colleagues so they can create, review, or follow your campaigns.
Go to the account you want to give access to.
Click Invite Team Members in the left sidebar. Alternatively, open your Account Settings → Members tab.
Enter the person's email address.
Choose an access level: Admin, Member or Viewer (see section 2).
Click Send invitation.
The invitee receives an email with an Accept Invitation button. The invitation is valid for 7 days. Until it is accepted, it is shown as pending, and you can Resend it at any time. Resending also extends the expiry date.
Didn't receive the email? Ask the invitee to check their spam folder first. If it still doesn't arrive, your company's email filters may be blocking it, so check with your IT team.

2. Understand user roles
Every user has a role, which determines what they can see and do. Roles can be given per account, per master account, or for the whole organization. A user only sees the accounts they have been given access to.
Account roles
Admin | Member | Viewer | |
|---|---|---|---|
View campaigns, jobs, assets and reports | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
Export data | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
Add jobs and XML feeds | ✓ | ✓ | — |
Upload, edit and crop images and logos | ✓ | ✓ | — |
Create and edit campaigns | ✓ | ✓ | — |
Invite and remove users | ✓ | — | — |
Delete the account | ✓ | — | — |
Admin: full control over the account, including managing users and settings.
Member: can create and edit content, such as jobs, assets and campaigns, but cannot manage users.
Viewer: read-only access. Can view everything and export data, but cannot make changes.
Master account and organization roles
Master Account Admins can create new accounts and manage users across all accounts under their master account.
Organization Admins have full access to the organization. This includes creating master accounts, managing packages and branding, and managing all users.
If you can see campaigns but cannot edit them, you probably have the Viewer role. Ask an Admin on your account to update your role.

3. Create your master account and accounts
Wonderkind NEXT is organized in three levels:
Organization → Master Account → Account
Organization: your company as a whole.
Master Account: a grouping of accounts, for example per brand, country, or client.

Click Add Master Account.
Fill in the Master Account Name and the name of the First Account.
Add the billing details: Address, Postal code, City, Country code (2 letters, e.g. NL) and Currency (3 letters, e.g. EUR). You can also add a VAT number (optional).

4. Set up your packages
Packages are ready-to-use campaign setups that combine channels, a duration and a price, such as a "14 Day Boost" on Meta. Your team picks a package when creating a campaign, so you don't have to configure budget and runtime every time.
Available to Organization Admins.
Open your Organization Settings and go to the Packages tab.
Click Add Package.
Fill in:
Name: what your team will see (e.g. "14 Day Boost").
Package ID: a short code using lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only (e.g.
meta-14). Use this same ID in your XML feed to automatically assign a package to a job (see section 8).Platforms: Meta, Google Display, or both.
Duration (days).
Price, charged in the account's currency.
Budget allocation: only shown when you select more than one platform. This sets how the budget is split between the platforms.
Description (optional).
Make sure the package is set to Active, then save.
You can switch packages on or off at any time. Inactive packages are not shown to your team.
In the campaign builder, users choose one of your packages or select Custom to set their own total budget and duration. If a job in your feed has a matching Package ID, it is selected automatically and labelled From job feed.

5. Connect your Meta page
To run campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, connect your Meta ad account and your Facebook Page to your account in Wonderkind NEXT, then accept the access request in Meta.
Step 1: Add your page in Wonderkind NEXT
Open your Account Settings and go to the Social Pages tab.
On the Facebook & Instagram Ads card, click Connect.
Under Facebook Pages, enter your numeric Facebook Page ID and click Add page.
Where do I find my Page ID? In Meta Business Suite, open your Page settings. The Page ID is a number, for example
369140112959041.
After you add the page, a status is shown next to it. The page is ready to use once access has been granted.
Step 2: Accept the connection request in Meta
Wonderkind sends a request to access your page. Someone at your company needs to accept it in Meta.
Before you start: You need Full control access to your Business Portfolio and/or Facebook Page in Meta Business Suite. If you don't have it, ask a colleague who does.
Go to .
Click the ⚙ Settings icon at the bottom left.
Select Requests in the left menu.
Check both the Frequently Used Requests and Other Requests tabs. The request is usually under Other Requests → Received.
Find the request from Programmatic job advertising (Wonderkind's Business Portfolio).
Click Accept.
When the request is accepted, the page status in Wonderkind NEXT updates and you can select the page when creating a campaign.

6. Upload images and logos in Creative Studio
Your images and logos are stored in the Asset Library in Creative Studio, where you can use them across all your campaigns.
Upload
In the left sidebar, go to Creative Studio → Assets.
Click Upload, then drag your files in or click to browse.
Optionally, add the Company the assets belong to. Suggestions are based on the companies in your jobs.
Check the Asset type (Image or Logo). It is detected automatically from the dimensions.
Select the Target platforms: Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and/or Google Display.
Click Upload.
Wonderkind NEXT automatically creates every format each channel needs from a single image. For example, for Meta it creates square, landscape and Stories versions.
Edit
Click an asset to open it:
Summary: click Edit to change the asset's Name, Category and Company.
Renditions: view every generated format and its status (Valid, Warning or Invalid). Click Adjust to fix how a specific format is cropped.
Studio: reframe your image with automatic (AI) or manual cropping, and adjust brightness, contrast and saturation. Click Apply & Save when you're done.
Insights: see category matching, quality and usage information.
Tag with company and category
Tagging your assets with a Company and Category helps you find the right images quickly and match images to the right jobs. Add the company when you upload, or edit the company and category later from the asset's Summary tab. Use the Company and Category filters in the Asset Library to find tagged assets.
Logos
A logo is required for Google Display campaigns. Logos must be JPG or PNG, perfectly square (1:1), at least 128 × 128 px (1200 × 1200 px recommended), and no larger than 5.12 MB. If your logo is too small, use the Resize for me button.

7. Use overlays and set up your branding
Overlays
Overlays add text on top of your images, such as the job title, location, salary and a call to action. This text is filled in automatically for each job, so one image can be used for many vacancies while still being personalized.
Choose one of the ready-made overlay templates, or design your own in the Overlay Builder in Creative Studio.
When building a campaign, choose whether to apply an overlay in the creative step, and preview the result before going live.
Change your branding
Your brand colours and logo are managed in your Organization Settings → Branding tab:
Look & Feel: set your colours manually, choose a preset, or use Import from Website to pick up your colours and logo from your careers site automatically. Click Save Colors to apply them.
Logo: upload your organization logo.
Each account can also have its own Account Logo, set in Account Settings → General. If no account logo is set, the organization logo is used.

8. Add your XML job feed
Your job feed keeps your vacancies in Wonderkind NEXT up to date automatically.
Add the feed
Go to Jobs and click Add Jobs.
Paste your feed URL (e.g.
https://careers.example.com/feed.xml). Wonderkind NEXT detects that it is an XML feed and shows a preview.Choose how often the feed should sync (every hour, every 4 hours, every 8 hours, or daily).
Click Add feed.
The preview shows how many jobs are valid and how many will be skipped because of missing required fields. The first sync usually takes 1–5 minutes, and up to 15 minutes for very large feeds. You can find the results in the feed's Sync History.
You can also add jobs manually or upload a CSV file from the same Add Jobs menu.
Feed requirements
The URL must be publicly accessible.
The feed must use the Market Standard XML format: a
<jobs>root element with each<job>as a direct child. Don't put other tags (such as<lastBuildDate>or<publisher>) between<jobs>and<job>.
Required fields
Field | Description |
|---|---|
| The job title only |
| A unique ID for the job that never changes |
| The application/job page URL (must start with http or https) |

| ISO country code (e.g. NL) |
| ISO language code (e.g. nl) |
Jobs that are missing a title, reference number, URL, company or location are skipped. If the country or language is missing, Wonderkind NEXT tries to detect it automatically, but we recommend always including both.
