What's New in NEXT: 17 July 2026

Public release notes for 17 July 2026 — TikTok channel, reference number validation, and bug fixes.

New: TikTok

TikTok is now available as an advertising channel in the campaign builder. Upload a 9:16 story video, write TikTok ad copy, and connect your TikTok account directly from the campaign. The channel selector automatically shows which channels are available based on your assets — TikTok requires at least one video, Meta and Google require at least one image.

Improved: Reference Number Validation

The campaign reference number field now shows an inline error if the value exceeds the 63-character limit, before you reach the launch step. Previously campaigns would fail to deploy silently with no indication why.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: Video creative was always showing the first ad copy instead of the copy edited specifically for it — when a campaign included both an image and a video, the video retained the image's copy. Each creative now correctly shows its own assigned ad copy.

  • Fixed: Google Search approval preview was combining all generated headlines and descriptions from all creatives instead of showing them per ad.

  • Fixed: Automation-sourced draft campaigns opened blank in the wizard and created duplicate campaigns instead of editing the existing draft.

  • Fixed: Campaigns getting stuck in "needs approval" permanently.

  • Fixed: Campaign progress was lost if you navigated to Integrations mid-creation.

  • Fixed: CPR (cost per result) was not being saved for performance-priced campaigns.

  • Fixed: Saving a campaign with an empty name was allowed — a required-field error now appears.

  • Fixed: Viewer-role users could delete jobs from the inventory and overlays from Creative Studio.

  • Fixed: Inactive jobs could still be selected when creating a campaign.

  • Fixed: TikTok campaign creation — the Continue button stayed disabled after all required fields were completed.
