New: Automatic Rejection Emails

You can now send candidates a short, polite rejection email automatically when you move them to Rejected in Qualify. It's off by default. Switch it on under Account Settings → Rejection email, where you can edit the text for each language or reset it to the default. Before anything is sent, you're asked to confirm the rejection, and the email goes out 15 minutes later. It's cancelled if you click Undo or move the candidate out of Rejected in the meantime. The email is sent in the job's language, with your account's logo and colour. The candidate card shows whether the email was delivered, and the candidate panel has a new timeline.

New: Access to Candidates Per Job

Who can see candidates in Qualify is now decided per job, not by someone's role. You can give people access to one job or to every job in the account, at three levels:

  • Reviewer: can see candidates.

  • Hiring manager: can also move candidates between stages.

  • Job admin: can also give and remove access for others.

On a job in Applicants, the new Access button shows who can see its candidates and lets you add, change or remove people. Access to every job in an account is managed under Account Settings → Members. Whoever creates a job automatically becomes its Job admin. Everyone kept the access they already had. Note that being an account admin no longer gives access to candidates by itself. Viewers are now read-only in Qualify.

Improved: Archiving Campaigns

Only drafts that never went live can now be deleted. Every other campaign is archived instead. Archiving stops the live campaign and is final: an archived campaign can't be restored, edited or launched again. You can archive several campaigns at once. Archived campaigns are hidden from the Campaign Overview unless you choose the Archived filter, and they still appear in your reports.

Improved: Google Search Keywords

Google Search campaigns now get better keywords, built from the terms people actually search for, so far fewer are rejected by Google for low search volume. Keywords are also created in the background as soon as you choose a job, so there's no waiting step in the wizard anymore.

Improved: Automation Rules

New automation rules now start switched off, and a rule can't be saved with empty conditions, because it would match every job. Package cards now show their channels, and TikTok packages say that a video is needed.

Improved: Long Job Descriptions

Jobs with a description longer than 4,000 characters are no longer rejected when importing a feed or CSV. They now import with a warning, and the description is shortened to 4,000 characters.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: Jobs in Luxembourg were saved as jobs in the Netherlands. NEXT now recognises country names in English, German, Dutch, Spanish and French.

  • Fixed: A video uploaded for TikTok only could be used in a Meta ad, and the other way round. Videos now only run on the channels they were uploaded for.

  • Fixed: Deleting an image from the asset library removed it from live campaign pages. Images used by a running campaign can no longer be deleted.

  • Fixed: Organisation admins got an error when inviting people to a client.

  • Fixed: The support chat bubble covered the Delete button in the job details panel.

  • Fixed: The campaign wizard could sometimes create a second copy of the same draft.

  • Fixed: Short skills such as "JS" or "Go" were sometimes left out when requirements were added to a job description.
