At least 3 headlines and 1 description are required. Google dynamically combines them when serving the ad.

Tips for editing copy:

  • Lead headlines with the job title or a clear benefit

  • Keep descriptions to 1–2 key points; ads are skimmed, not read

  • Check that AI-generated copy is factually accurate before publishing

  • Adjust tone to match your employer brand voice

Google Policies to keep in mind

Capitalisation

  • All caps (e.g. FREE JOBS NOW)

  • Mixed/gimmicky case (e.g. FlOwErS, F.L.O.W.E.R.S.)

  • Non-standard capitalisation unless it's a recognised brand name, trademark, or common abbreviation (e.g. ASAP, coupon codes)

Punctuation & symbols

  • Repeated punctuation (e.g. Amazing jobs!!! or Best offer???)

  • Symbols used to alter spelling (e.g. fl@wers, f1owers)

  • Symbols used for emphasis instead of meaning (e.g. **Amazing**)

Emojis & special characters

  • Emojis are explicitly prohibited

  • Single-byte katakana

  • Any invalid or unsupported characters

Repetition & spacing

  • Gimmicky repetition of words or phrases

  • Reusing identical text across multiple headlines or descriptions in the same ad

  • Extra spaces or omitted spaces between words

Style & grammar

  • Incorrect spelling or grammar

  • Incomprehensible or nonsensical text

  • Phone numbers in ad text

  • Promotional language in the business name field

Trademarks

  • Using third-party trademarks without authorisation

  • Non-standard trademarked spellings require a review request and must appear consistently on the destination website

⚠️ Any violation of the above Google policies will lead to ad rejection in the channel.

Size warnings and upscaling

Images

If an uploaded image is below the minimum dimensions for a placement, NEXT will attempt to automatically upscale it to meet the requirement. Upscaling is applied within quality limits to avoid visible degradation.

  • If upscaling succeeds, the rendition is marked Valid and the campaign can proceed.

  • If the image is too small to upscale within acceptable quality limits, the rendition is marked Invalid with a clear explanation. You will need to upload a higher-resolution version.

Each rendition in the Asset Library shows one of three statuses: Valid, Warning, or Invalid. A warning means the asset will work but may not display at optimal quality.

Any images with upscaling above 2x, will be rejected in the channels.

Logos

If your logo is below the minimum dimensions for its shape, NEXT will show a "Resize for me" button. Clicking it upscales the logo in-browser to meet the minimum requirement and proceeds with the upload automatically.

If the logo format is unsupported (e.g. SVG), an inline error is shown immediately on upload and the file is rejected.

Upscaling Examples

Common sizes that would be rejected on Meta:

Size

Reason

800×800 px

9:16: 1920/800 = 2.4×

1080×1080 px

9:16: 1920/1080 = 1.78× → actually not rejected (warning only)

1200×628 px

9:16: 1920/628 = 3.06×

1200×800 px

9:16: 1920/800 = 2.4×

600×600 px

9:16: 1920/600 = 3.2×

1920×1080 px

9:16: 1920/1080 = 1.78× → actually not rejected (warning only)
